He looks like Peter Hughes, my old childhood friend, all grown up...

Kind of like a living Leprechaun!


But. he has a completely different SOUND!

We saw him perform last night in La Crosse WI, and he, Dan Sebranek on guitar and backing vocals, and Radislov, Whateveritis on keyboards did a FANTASTIC job!!

Today, on my mail route, I listened to a couple of CD's my wife purchased last night, and they just brought to life the beauty of the French Island area I was delivering mail to!


Johnsmith, (as one word, his name doesn't cry out SO hard for Pochahantos!), is the REAL DEAL!!

No Garrisson Keillor/Dwight Shrute/Emperorwithoutclothes here!!

Lots of substance- AND! he has the same high-tenor vocal range as myself!

Folk/Barbershop anyone??

Also, he does put on a GREAT show!

I actually used to listen to Prairie Home Companian, starring Dwight Shr...er, Garrison uh, Shrute!
I still tune in occasionally, to hear the artists booked on the show, like Patty Loveless last week! (GREAT!!)

But, EVERY time Garrison Shrute opens his politically correct/retarded mouth, I SHRUTE THE RADIO DOWN!!!

Even worse, given that his AIDES book the BEST singing talent available in the WORLD: Dwight KEILLOR makes CERTAIN that he will "SING" along with these artists.

GARRISON KEILLOR IS PROBABLY THE WORST SINGER THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD ON THE RADIO!!

You can quote me on that.

It's like the Emperor with no Clothes, Insisting over and over how well dressed he is...

Garrison is really, really, really bad at singing, and his opinions are counter to the small town, midwestern values he supposedly espouses.

I wish he'd stayed in Denmark. (Wasn't that where he ran off with some girl from the Anoka Mn. High School foreign exchange program?) Actually, who cares?

In closing, Garrison/Dwight Shrute/Keillor is the worst singer I've ever heard in public, in my life.

Also, he kind of reminds me of a mean Barney Fife!
