Well, it appears there will be an article about me next week! How unexpected...
A journalist by the name of Chris came by the house today, and interviewed me about my mail delivery career, and we had a really nice talk. He, like me, majored in English in college; so, we are both "men of letters", as my dad always says about me. He went to U of Illinois; I went to Illinois State U. Anyway, the paper even plans to send a photographer to photograph me on Saturday! So, keep your eye out for me in the paper.......

We just wanted to THANK YOU for being our postman. You were so very friendly and when we moved from our rented house to the one we bought you made sure we got all of our mail. I used to watch from my computer room when you would pull up for your lunch break. Good luck on your new route....I am sure it will be easier on you. Now you can save your legs and knees for something you enjoy doing while not working.
